The NHS Christie and Tim Bacon Foundation (Manchester) were seeking an installatinon for a wall situated in the newly developed proton beam center. For this, I designed a collective hug; a universal way to tell someone that they are loved, supported and are not alone where ever they may be in life.
The characters in this installation were designed so they could be separated and placed in different loactions within the NHS Christie hopsital. Such as at reception, nurse stations, cafes and staff rooms.
